I am the author of four collections of poetry. My most recent book, Come on All You Ghosts, is available from Copper Canyon in September of 2010. It is available for purchase here directly from Copper Canyon, here from Small Press Distribution, and here from Amazon. My forthcoming book, Sun Bear, will be out in Spring 2014 from Copper Canyon.
My first book was American Linden, winner of the Tupelo Press Editor’s Prize, published in 2002. My second was The Pajamaist, published by Copper Canyon in 2006. The Pajamaist was selected by Tony Hoagland as the winner of the William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America (click here and scroll down for the citation), and was chosen by Library Journal as one of the top ten poetry volumes of 2006.
I am also co-translator along with historian Radu Ioanid of Secret Weapon (Coffee House Press, 2007), the final collection by the late Romanian poet Eugen Jebeleanu.
Available from Pilot Books is For You in Full Bloom, a book of 10 poems I wrote corresponding to (and using the titles of) 10 paintings by Chris Uphues. The book will include the poems and reproductions of the paintings.
